Portland Private Investigator
The State of Maine boasts a population of approximately 1.33 million residents, but its crime rates are notably low compared to national averages. Of the 26.69 index crimes reported annually per 1,000 residents, only 1.23 are violent (3.9 national median) and 25.45 are property-related (29.1 national median). Index crimes include violent crimes against people as well as property crimes and theft. The city of Portland, with a population just over 66,000, is rated as safer than 13% of cities in the U.S., despite its crime rates being slightly higher than the State averages. Of the 42.98 index crimes reported per 1,000 residents, 2.86 were violent and 40.11 were property-related. As with all more densely populated areas, cities have a greater need for law enforcement and investigation, and local enforcement agencies are generally lacking the necessary resources to be as effective and efficient as people might want. Hiring a private investigator such as those licensed by ICS will ensure that a dedicated investigator with all of the necessary skills and experiences is working around the clock to solve your case.
