Team ICS of Missouri leads the way again. That's right, Team ICS member Toni Mothershed placed second in her division on March 30th, 2013 at the Race for Hope Benefit Run. This was Toni's first official 5K run and placing is a great way to start the year.
Run for Hope is a fundraiser for cancer research and a way for participants to donate money that will wind up helping cancer survivors and their families in the local area. Recently, a swing Fore Hope Golf Tournament - a charitable golf event held in Edwardsville - raised $30,000 for the Siteman Cancer Research Center, in St. Louis, and $30,000 for local cancer survivors and their families.
Team ICS of Missouri's next stop is the GO marathon in St. Louis where team members Toni Mothershed and Amanda Anderson will compete with 20,000 other runners.
