Summary:
A husband was in the middle of an international divorce, and his wife was overseas. The husband’s wife was believed to be having an affair with her attorney – the same attorney defending her overseas for the custody of their children, who have dual citizenship.
The husband had custody of the children, which was being contested both in the United States and overseas. The husband had an upcoming court hearing and was asking for video surveillance on his wife, overseas, to document her activities and hopefully capture indication of infidelity.
ICS and its investigators attempted to find any proof that the wife and attorney were having an affair. Surveillance was conducted for four days. At first, there was no indication of infidelity, but on the last day of surveillance, both the husband’s wife and the attorney were seen together inside of the attorney’s residence hugging, kissing, and being playful (having a pillow fights). This evidence strongly suggested a sexual relationship.
Conclusion:
Due to the privacy laws overseas, our private investigator was unable to document this activity with videotape, because it was occurring inside a private house. Because our agent is a certified investigator and expert witness, however, he was able to testify that he was an eyewitness to all activities and that everything he stated was factual. Despite the lack of video, the eyewitness account of the activities was proof enough for the courts, and the husband successfully secured custody rights for his children.
