Phoenix native Sabine Hilten is an ASU graduate and published journalist for the New Times and The Hollywood Reporter. She began her legal career at the Law Offices of Fred J. Pain, Jr. and John Greg Pain, where she assisted with Michael G. Walters v. Maricopa County, a landmark Arizona case in which the plaintiff/ government whistleblower was awarded a $4.75 million jury verdict. She continued as a personal injury litigation paralegal at Cunningham Law Firm and Mariscal Weeks McIntyre & Friedlander. She has served on the board of the Mental Health Advocates Coalition of Arizona and volunteered for several other mental health organizations, including the Maricopa County Adult Probation Department’s SMI (severely mentally ill) Unit. She is a licensed private investigator and certified process server.
