Tina Rhodes obtained her BS in Criminal Justice from Edinoboro University of Pennsylvaina and her Masters in Criminal Justice from the College of Criminal Justice at the University of South Carolina. Before she began her career as a computer forensics specialist, she was a probation officer for the state of Florida. During her 3 years as an officer supervising felons and misdemeanants in the community she also test piloted new computer technologies such as biometric identification and smart cards. After that she moved on to programming, combining her criminal justice education and field experience with programming skills. To date she has 14 years of computer programming and research experience.
Tina Rhodes has been recognized for her participation as a faculty member in the student's IEEE organization while at Devry University. She is bilingual (Spanish) and has received her computer forensics certification through NTI. Her programming background includes languages such as XML, Java, PHP, AJAX plus she is able to work in both Microsoft and Linux/Unix environments. She is currently seeking certification as a CISSP professional through ISC2.
