Private investigators working anywhere within Virginia’s state borders are required to be licensed by the Virginia Licensing Department. Virginia state law is designed to ensure that any private investigator working in Virginia is a competent, moral, and law-abiding citizen. In Virginia, private investigator applicants must pass a background check, provide proof of experience, and complete a training course through a state certified institution. Even after a Virginia private investigator becomes licensed, they are still required to maintain continuing education courses and renew their license every 24 months. When you contact a Suffolk private investigator from ICS, you can rest assured that your private investigator will be fully licensed, and has met or exceeded all state mandated requirements.

ICS holds all our private investigators to the highest levels of professionalism, experience, and confidentiality, above and beyond what is required by state law. Clients of ICS can expect an excellent investigative experience because ICS always conducts timely, accurate, and discrete investigations, and by providing thorough and detailed reports. If you live or work in the Suffolk area and need a private investigation within your region or elsewhere in the state or country, ICS can help. ICS is a local company with regional values, but we have a unique advantage because of our access to ICS’s global network of private investigator tools, resources, and references. With these tools in hand, we have been able to gain the national experience and expertise you expect, while still maintaining local culture and regional pride.

Suffolk Private Investigator

Suffolk has a unique political and cultural position in the country, being located in one of only four states to keep the title of “Commonwealth” in the United States. Suffolk is part of the Hampton Roads metropolitan, and today is home to just over 84,500 people. Suffolk is no exception to Virginia’s deeply American culture and lengthy history, having been founded in 1742 as a part of the original Virginia colony. Large tobacco crops originally funded the region, but later the region switched to mixed farming, which is the tradition that carries on in Virginia today. Suffolk, Virginia is a unique mix of past and present, and the rich history and local quirks affect how a private investigation should be carried out. ICS is a local private investigative agency that understands how life works in Suffolk, so if you live or work in Suffolk or the surrounding areas, contact ICS of Virginia for any of your private investigation needs, and begin your free consultation today.
