New Orleans Private Investigator

The State of Louisiana has a population of well over 4.5 million people, and its crime rates are accordingly a bit higher than the national average.  Over 194,000 incidents were reported in 2011, which rounds out to 42.44 index crimes reported per 1,000 residents.  Of those, 5.55 were violent, and 36.89 were property-related.   Nationally, the median numbers are 3.9 and 29.1, respectively.  In New Orleans specifically, which represents 361,000 of the State’s population, the rates are even higher.  Though the Big Easy is rated as safer than 11% of U.S. cities, its violent crime rates are well above average at 7.63 incidents per 1,000 residents, while property rimes rate at 39.52 per 1,000.  In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, it was well publicized that law enforcement lacked the manpower and resources to investigate even petty crimes, and the city is still recovering from those times.  By hiring a private investigator licensed by ICS, you can assure yourself that your case will be worked until the bitter end by an expertly trained, dedicated investigator.

  2. Must be a US Citizen.
  3. Pass a background check and submit fingerprints to the State Board of Private Investigator Examiners.
  4. Gain 3 years of investigative experience within the past 10 years.
