With the progression of technology people have a whole new world to explore when it comes to meeting potential mates. Whenever you meet someone online it gives you the opportunity to really get to know them before meeting them in person. It involves a lot of trust, and we give that trust freely when we have nothing to lose and are safely distant from the actual person.  This false sense of security can be dangerous.
